Seaglass Earrings - Kelly Green Rare Striped Set

$45.00

This pair of ridged Kelly Green color seaglass earrings are made of highly unusual glass pieces of “Mermaid Tears” found in the same general area of a beach in my hometown of St. Augustine, Florida - the Oldest City in the USA.

The Kelly Green hue (1:3 on the rarity scale) is almost always from old soda and beer bottles that have found their way into the sea (think 7-Up, Mountain Dew and Rolling Rock, Heineken). These are much more likely from a decorative vessel like a vase. Seaglass is worn down pieces of these relics - sand, rocky beaches and coral reefs make them particularly frosty!

These seaglass earrings measure about 2.25" from the top of the wire to the bottom of the pieces. Sterling silver French ear wires are attached. All of my seaglass is organically-worn down by the oceans and Great Lakes - always a beach find and never purchased or tumbled! The included color rarity chart was made with research over the two decades I have been collecting these frosty shards of history.

Your jewelry will arrive in a beautiful pale aqua gift box and is always carefully packed.

Thank you for supporting an independent American artist and beachcomber!
